Start with the solicitation requirements
Provide the scope, drawings available, required qualifications, insurance or bonding requirements, submission format, and evaluation process through the agency’s approved channel. Eligibility and procurement requirements should be confirmed by the purchasing team for the specific opportunity. A general service description does not establish eligibility for a particular contract.
Protect public service during the work
Map public counters, staff areas, secure rooms, deliveries, and meeting spaces. Determine whether temporary service locations or phased closures are needed. Security credentials, escorts, data-sensitive areas, and working hours should be documented before site access.
- Identify the agency representative authorized to direct work.
- Keep clarification and change records with the contract documents.
- Separate construction milestones from department move-in activities.
Define acceptance and records
Ask the facility team which inspection records, operating information, training, and closeout formats it needs. Share the solicitation and facility scope with AmeriConstruction to determine whether its general construction services are a fit and what project-specific requirements must be addressed.
