Establish the approval process
Identify the association’s authorized representative, design decision process and budget approval steps. Record who can accept scope changes during construction.
Define the intended facilities
Document rooms, shared functions, equipment and exterior interfaces included in the rebuild. Separate like-for-like work from proposed layout or amenity changes.
Coordinate community access
Discuss temporary access, deliveries and resident communication with the association. Keep construction completion, inspections and reopening responsibilities explicit.
