Draw the customer and vehicle routes
Review reception, waiting areas, staff spaces, vehicle entry, queuing, and service-bay access together. Changing a wall, door, or delivery area can affect the route a vehicle takes through the property. Include equipment layouts and operational clearances for review by the appropriate design and equipment professionals.
Identify specialist interfaces early
Lifts, service equipment, vehicle exhaust systems, fluid handling, and other shop systems should be assigned explicitly to qualified vendors and designers. General construction, interior finishes, roofing, and reconstruction proposals should name the required interfaces without implying that every shop system is included.
- Who disconnects and reinstalls owner equipment?
- Who verifies equipment support and utility requirements?
- What building work must be complete before vendors return?
Coordinate the return to service
Plan customer access and temporary service arrangements with the operator. After construction, allow for equipment setup, testing by responsible vendors, staff preparation, and any required approvals. Bring your bay plan, equipment list, photographs, and operating priorities to a scope conversation with AmeriConstruction.
