Build the package library
Group floor plans and finish standards, then record what each package includes. Keep condition repairs separate from planned upgrades. A pilot gives the property team a place to review details, selections, quantities, and the acceptance standard.
Create a unit readiness register
- Unit identifier, package, occupancy status, and access date.
- Condition issues requiring approval before work starts.
- Material and appliance readiness.
- Expected trade sequence and inspection needs.
- Punch status, acceptance, cleaning, and release to the property team.
Manage exceptions visibly
Use one log for substitutions, discovered damage, access changes, and revised completion expectations. When a pilot or field discovery changes the standard package, issue the revision to purchasing and every affected crew before repeating it.
