Insurance Restoration Services

Property Walkthrough

In the event of a disaster that needs immediate attention contact your insurance carrier as soon as possible.

The first place to start is assessing the damages or areas of concern being interior or exterior. Upon assessing the damages we will deploy the proper emergency repair protocols.

After the assessment, AmeriConstruction will meet with the insurance adjuster to point all damages at the property.

File A Claim

Calling in a claim is a simple process. Contact your insurance carrier and explain to them what has happened with your building. After filing a claim the insurance company will provide you with a claim number you will be assigned a field adjuster.

The field adjuster will be the person who is assigned to inspect for damages and prepare the repair estimate. Take note of the adjusters name, phone number, email address and claim number.

The Adjuster Meeting

(72 hours) from the time the claim was submitted, an adjuster will contact you to set up an inspection.

Our team will need to be present to point out all damages to make sure all damaged items are accounted for before the estimate is prepared, this is to make sure you have two layers of verification.

It usually takes 5-14 business days to receive the initial estimate from the insurance company.

Insurance Estimate Review

Sometimes the adjusters estimate will be provided the same day, but industry standard is 5-14 business days.

Once the estimate is received, AmeriConstruction will need to pick up a copy of the estimate to verify all items are accounted for within the estimate. 90% of the time the dollar amount will change based on items that were left out or incorrectly priced line items.

Sign A Contract

After reviewing the estimate and reaching an agreed upon amount with your insurance carrier an AmeriConstruction associate will visit with you to finalize the complete scope of work up for repair.

Next step is to execute a contract detailing all items needing to be repaired and replaced and pick up the first check from insurance.

Material Selection

A full checklist will be detailed after reviewing the scope of work to be completed .

During the contract signing, AmeriConstruction and the property owner / business will select all material and color options for the project.

Once all material options are verified our team will schedule our installation crew to begin the work.

Completion

Upon completion of the project an AmeriConstruction associate will complete a final walkthrough, detailing work completed to make sure the property owner, management company or business is fully satisfied with the work completed.

AmeriConstruction will file the final invoice with the insurance company to release the depreciation / final payment of the claim. Upon collecting the final payment all warranty paperwork will be issued to the owner.
